 From the M5 J27, take the A361 North Devon Link Road westwards to Barnstaple. At Barnstaple, take the A39 to Bideford, then follow signs for the A386 to Great Torrington.
At Landcross, turn right onto the A388 following the signs to Holsworthy, passing through the villages of Saltrens, Monkleigh and Frithelstock Stone.
Upon entering the village of Stibb Cross, turn left at the Old Union Inn. Penlan House can be found approximately 150 yards on the left.
